Rob Berry

This weeks blog features Rob Berry who was first brought to my attention by Hard Drive Promotions.

When I first heard the term “busker” I had no idea what that was and had to be educated on the matter. Wow, talk about capturing MY imagination. The idea of being free enough to do what one loves most is a foreign concept to most people. I have heard it said “follow your dreams” yet the notion of that most often leaves me completely baffled~! “How can one do that” resonates in my brain 24/7 as I face my now third month of restless wanderings about and not being completely sure where I’m eventually goinng to end up. However the thought just occured to me that therein lies the essence of that idea! Busking…..eureka!

After interviewing an ardent follower of Rob Berry’s career the words that stick in my brain are, “I was walking down the High Street in Winchester one lunchtime and happened to hear Rob performing. I stopped dead in my tracks and was completely mesmerised by what I heard!” This comment intrigued me so much so that I went on an early morning search of discovery to find more “musics” to listen to! Naturally Rob’s cover of “The Wnd Cries Mary” has to be my top choice for OBVIOUS reasons

All I’ll say is thanks HDP for sharing this talented musician and his incredible “Blues” style musics with me~!
